Their processing needs to be robust, durable, and easy to operate so that they might reach their target number of consumers and can satisfy their requirements. With this requirement dialogue, they are also concerned about consuming less electricity, improving the productivity of food production, and carrying out the operations with smoothness and easiness, and they must be eco-friendly. Above all, these food processing and production cycles must serve their purpose effectively.

Almost all of these food processing and production equipment are operated electronically. There is a long list of this equipment concerning cooking, cutting, baking of food items, and cleaning equipment available for these commercial requirements. Let’s have a look at exactly what kind of machines are used in the food industry and they work for the said industry.

Food production machines

Some basic food production machines include burners, cooking ranges, ovens, griddles, and much more. Let’s learn about them one by one. The first of this category is Burners, which are used for cooking, boiling, and steaming food items. They commonly operate on Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) but rather changes with the type of fuel available in your area. Today, most advanced versions like induction burners and hot plates are available in various industries that work effectively and rapidly. This equipment operates on electricity. They come with an open-top, mesh top, or flat top formation and are easy to operate.

Cooking ranges

Another piece of equipment that is widely used is Cooking Ranges, which are the most versatile equipment operating with LPG or electricity, depending on what you can easily access or cost-effective in your area. As with their name, they can perform a wide range of functions such as cooking, frying, boiling, grilling, and baking. Their orientations and formations are different depending upon the manufacturer’s thought and design. They also come up with separate ranges including a Restaurant range; which is less expensive and less costly for low food volume, and the other the Heavy-duty range; which are expensive and are meant to provide services for a large volume of food production. These are mostly used in the food production industries and are operated with electricity mostly.

Kettles

Another piece of equipment used is Kettles that are used for cooking, warming, and storing food items. They are mostly two-layered pots that are used in industrial environments and consist of one layer inside the other with a gap in between for steam. They are usually jacketed for better protection and agitator tilting for a better view and easy food handling. The most overwhelming kettles manufactured by quality producers also have a product discharge valve that provides an efficient transfer of food items to another pot or area without damaging their formation and taste.

Cutters and shoppers

Another type is Cutters/Choppers which are used in cutting, dicing, and slicing vegetables or other soft food items in various shapes and sizes. They can also cut bread into small pieces for puddings or soups. These might differ with shapes and sizes and work accordingly for small or large-scale users.
The next in the row is Mixers which are most commonly used in commercial food production industries. This equipment is used for mixing and blending food items so that a new formation is produced and tastes are mixed. These come in two types; one is table mounted mixer and the other floor mounted mixer. These are some of the machines that are commonly sued in the food production industry.
